Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains your options when requesting a refund for a TaskWall Premium subscription purchased through Google Play. We want every user to feel confident about their purchase.
1. Google Play Purchases
All TaskWall Premium subscriptions are sold and processed exclusively through the Google Play Store. Google Play acts as the merchant of record for all transactions. This means:
- We never receive or store your payment information.
- Google's payment infrastructure handles all billing, tax collection, and receipts.
- Google Play's own refund policies apply as a baseline alongside this policy.
2. Refund Window, Within 48 Hours
Google Play offers an automatic refund window for app purchases. If you change your mind shortly after subscribing, you can request a refund directly from Google:
Open Google Play Store on your device.
Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Select TaskWall and tap Cancel subscription. If within the eligible window, a refund option will appear automatically.
Alternatively, visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions in a browser.
Google processes eligible refunds within 3–5 business days back to your original payment method.
3. Refund Requests, After 48 Hours
After Google’s automatic window closes, you can still contact us directly. We review every request individually and will issue refunds in the following circumstances:
- Technical failure, Premium features were not accessible to you due to a bug or technical issue on our side, and you reported it to us.
- Accidental purchase, a subscription was started unintentionally (for example, by a family member without your knowledge).
- Duplicate charge, you were billed more than once for the same subscription period.
- Service unavailability, the app was non-functional for a significant period during your subscription period due to our fault.
We generally do not issue refunds for:
- a change of mind after the 48-hour window where Premium features were used;
- partial subscription periods (we do not pro-rate cancellations);
- issues caused by incompatible third-party software or devices;
- requests made more than 90 days after the original charge;
- accounts that have been suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
4. Subscription Cancellation
Cancelling your subscription stops future renewals but does not remove access to Premium for the remainder of the current billing period you have already paid for. You will continue to have Premium access until the end of that period.
To cancel, go to Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions → TaskWall → Cancel.
5. Free Trial
If you are on a free trial, you can cancel at any time before the trial ends and you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and you will be charged.
6. Subscription Renewal Charges
If you believe you were charged for a renewal you did not intend, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate. Renewal charges that occur because a subscription was not cancelled before the renewal date are generally not eligible for refund, but we will consider genuine cases of error.
7. How to Request a Refund From Us
To submit a refund request directly to TaskWall, email us at support@taskwallai.com with:
- the email address associated with your Google Play account;
- the date of purchase and the subscription plan (monthly or yearly);
- the reason for your refund request.
We will respond within 5 business days. If your request is approved, we will process the refund via Google Play’s developer refund mechanism. Refunds typically appear within 3–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
8. Consumer Rights
If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or Australia, you may have statutory consumer rights that go beyond this policy. Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit or exclude rights you are entitled to under applicable consumer protection legislation.
